Executive Vice President

Rick became the Executive Vice-President of the North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association (NCNLA) in September 2018. He directs day-to-day administrative and operational activities in support of the mission and objectives of the organization as set by the Board of Directors. Rick reports directly to the board and oversees staff in developing programs and services that provide value to NCNLA members.

Katie Oskey

Director of Events & Education

Katie Rodrigues joined the NCNLA as Director of Meetings & Education in May 2021. She is responsible for organizing and delivering high-value educational events and coordinating the Certified Plant Professional Program. She serves as the staff liaison to the Education and Scholarship Committees while working with the appropriate state licensing boards to seek CEU approvals and ensure accuracy in our reporting.

Kathryn Stansbury

Director of Business Development

Kathryn joined NCNLA as Director of Business Development in August of 2016 and has worked in the association world for over 13 years. She is responsible for building, retaining and engaging NCNLA’s membership as well as increasing the value of membership through new programs, services and products. She also coordinates the Green & Growin’ marketplace and assists with other association events. Her position is aligned with NCNLA’s core revenue streams including trade shows, non-dues partnerships and membership.

Wendi Doak

Director of Marketing & Communications

Wendi joined NCNLA as Director of Marketing & Communications in October 2021. She is responsible for general marketing, communications and branding for NCNLA, including general promotion of the industry and association members. She manages the association’s print and digital publications; social media accounts and websites; and coordinates media relations. She also oversees sales and sponsorships for NCNLA publications and events.

 Rayna Bailey

Operations & Certification Manager

Rayna joined NCNLA as Office Manager in June 2022. She is responsible for day-to-day office operations and oversees NCNLA volunteer programs. Rayna also provides ongoing member and staff administrative support.
